Yesterday morning i dragged myself out of bed at 5.15am. Anyone who knows me knows that this is a monumental task at the best of times.

I was determined to make it Bambrugh Castle for sunrise. It is a such a beautiful place.

It would be hard to argue that it is most likely one of the most picturesque locations in the north east. So after a 1 minute exposure time and very wet feet I give you my take on Bambrugh Castle at sunrise.

To me this is possibly my favourite photograph that i have ever taken. not least for the effort it took to get their in time, but also for the composition of the image. if you like it as much as me, can find this picture in my shop.
